A cableway between Nizhny Novgorod and Bor operates since 2012. The passenger traffic is 5,500 daily. Three additional cableways with a passenger traffic of 3,000 to 4,000 hourly on the average are planned.
After the refurbishment Nizhny Novgorod's Strighino international airport will be able to serve up to 28 air carriers and offer a choice of 55 Russian and international air routes.
