Nizhny Novgorod, Ulyanovsk and Irkutsk regions will be part of the interregional aviation cluster. Governors Gleb Nikitin, Sergey Morozov, Sergey Levchenko and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Interregional Aviation Cluster, Vice President of Irkut Corporation Vasily Prutkovsky signed an agreement on the establishment of a cluster at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi on February 14, 2019.
The regional structure of the cluster is determined on the basis of the concentration of supplying enterprises involved in the development and production of the innovative medium-haul airliner MS-21 in the regions. From the Nizhny Novgorod region, the participants will include Rost-Avia LLC (creation of building accessories), Gidromash OJSC (production of chassis supports from high-strength steels and advanced titanium alloys), PKO Teploobmennik (production of integrated air conditioning systems, anti-icing system). wing, automatic pressure control system).

“Participation in the interregional cluster implies the possibility for our enterprises to receive subsidies from the federal budget in the amount of 50% of the investment costs carried out in the framework of joint projects for the production of industrial products. My opinion is that the implementation of such a measure of support could give a good result in practice. I believe that this tool is worth preserving at the federal level. In addition, I am confident that the exchange of experience of aviation enterprises in three areas will contribute to the creation and new types of products of aviation organizations, ”Gleb Nikitin said.

“The development of the aviation industry is one of the priorities for the authorities of our region; it is not for nothing that Ulyanovsk bears the proud title of“ aviation capital of Russia ”. It is very important that the signed agreement will allow creating new jobs, attracting investors as part of the development of chains of cooperation within the Interregional Aviation Cluster. This, in turn, will allow enterprises of our regions to become more successful, and therefore make a significant contribution to the development of the aviation industry of the whole country, ”said the governor of the Ulyanovsk region Sergey Morozov.

“In recent decades, little attention has been paid to civil aviation in the country. Meanwhile, in order to create a plane, it is necessary to set up hundreds of enterprises in cooperation. The agreement, signed by the three subjects of the Federation, will allow for a wider development of cooperation in creating aircraft of the future. In the regions associated with civil aviation, there should be elemental production, "- added the governor of the Irkutsk region Sergey Levchenko.
